ACCA in Mauritius: Exam Dates, Fees in MUR and How to Prepare Online for December 2026

ACCA in Mauritius: Exam Dates, Fees in MUR and How to Prepare Online for December 2026

Mauritius has one of the highest concentrations of ACCA students in the world. ACCA is the qualification most Mauritian accountants hold, its members can register as Professional Accountants with the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA) under the Financial Reporting Act 2004, and it is the route into the island’s banking, global business and audit sectors. If you are studying ACCA in Port Louis, Ebene, Moka, Curepipe or Rose Hill, this guide covers what you need for the December 2026 sitting and how to prepare from home.

ACCA Exam Sittings and Dates for Mauritius Students

ACCA runs four sittings a year: March, June, September and December. Exams are computer-based and sat at ACCA-approved centres in Mauritius. The December 2026 sitting is tentatively about nine weeks away from this post, and the standard entry deadline falls a few weeks before the exam week. Log in to your myACCA account for the exact dates for your paper, and book before the late-entry surcharge applies.

ACCA Fees in Mauritian Rupees (Approximate)

ACCA charges in British pounds. The MUR figures below use the approximate mid-market rate on 30 September 2026 (1 GBP = MUR 62.96 / NPR 203.18 / INR 127.00; source: open.er-api.com). Rates change daily, so confirm on accaglobal.com before paying.

The fee that hurts most is the one you pay twice. In June 2026 the global pass rates were 41% for PM, 47% for AA, 48% for FM and 52% for FR, so more than half of Applied Skills candidates paid an exam fee and did not pass. Practising under exam conditions before you sit is the cheapest insurance against a re-sit.

How to Prepare Online from Mauritius

Mauritius has good local tuition providers, but classroom seats fill up, evening batches clash with work, and mock exams with proper solutions are hard to find. Online mocks solve the last problem cheaply.

  • Weeks 1 to 4: finish the syllabus with your provider or self-study notes.
  • Weeks 5 to 8: one full timed mock a week, on screen, no notes. After each mock, read the solution to every question you got wrong and add the topic to a revision list.
  • Last 10 days: two more mocks and revision of your list only. No new topics.

Our ACCA Skill Level mocks (PM, FR, AA, FM) are full-length and timed, show the correct answer and a worked solution for every question after submission, and cost INR 1,500 each, about MUR 750 at the 30 September 2026 rate. International cards are accepted, and the timer runs on your local clock. Mauritius is 1 hour 30 minutes behind India, so WhatsApp support is available from 8:30 am Mauritius time on working days.
