ACCA September 2026 Results: Date, How to Check and What to Do Next
ACCA will release the September 2026 exam results on Monday, 19 October 2026. If you sat PM, FR, AA, FM, TX or a Strategic Professional paper in September, this guide tells you how to see your result, what your mark means, the deadlines that start running the moment results are out, and how to plan December 2026 whether you passed or not.
All dates below are taken from ACCA’s official Important Dates page (checked on 5 October 2026).

(Source: ACCA Global, Important Dates, September and December 2026 sessions. All ACCA deadlines close at 23:59 UK time, which is 4:29 am the next morning in India until the UK clocks change on 25 October 2026, and 5:29 am after that.)
The most important number here is the gap: results come out on 19 October and December standard entry closes on 2 November. You have exactly two weeks to decide your December plan.
How to Check Your ACCA September 2026 Result
- Opt in for SMS results by 12 October. In myACCA, switch on results by text. ACCA needs this at least seven days before results day. You only have to do it once; future results will also come by text.
- Log in to myACCA on 19 October. Your result appears in your account, and ACCA also emails you. If the portal is slow on results morning (it often is, with students worldwide logging in), wait and try again rather than refreshing repeatedly.
- Download your exam status report. It shows the mark for each paper and is the document employers, colleges and exemption checks ask for.
What Your ACCA Mark Means
The pass mark for every ACCA exam is 50 out of 100. Use your mark, not just pass or fail, to plan the next step:
Your mark | What it usually means | Suggested next step |
50 and above | Passed. Well done. | Book your next paper for December by 2 November |
45 to 49 | Close fail. Knowledge is there; usually time management or exam technique cost the last few marks. | Re-sit in December with timed mocks |
35 to 44 | Gaps in a few syllabus areas plus technique. | December is possible if you can give 7 weeks to targeted revision and mocks; otherwise March 2027 |
Below 35 | The syllabus has not been covered or practised properly. | Consider March 2027 and rebuild the base first |

If You Passed: Book December Before 2 November
Momentum matters in ACCA. Students who book their next paper straight after a pass usually finish the qualification faster than those who take a session off. With results on 19 October and December exams from 7 December, you have about seven weeks: enough for one Applied Skills paper if you start the syllabus immediately and keep the last three weeks for timed mocks.

If You Did Not Pass: A Clear Plan for the Next 7 Weeks
A fail is common in ACCA. In June 2026 more than half the candidates failed PM (41% pass rate), AA (47%), FM (48%) and FR (52%). What matters is what you do in the next two weeks.
- Look at your mark, not just the word “fail”. Use the table above to decide December or March.
- Read the examiner’s report for your paper when ACCA publishes it, and list the question types where you lost marks.
- Book December by 2 November if your mark was 40 or above. A re-sit booked late costs about Rs.30,000 more per paper than one booked on time.
- Sit a full timed mock in the first week to see where you stand today, then one mock a week until exam week. Most re-sit candidates already know the theory; they fail on finishing a three-hour computer-based exam on time.

Should You Ask for an Administrative Review?
An administrative review checks that all your answers were marked and the marks were added up and recorded correctly. It does not re-mark your answers with a different view. It is worth considering if your mark is a few marks below 50 and you are confident something went wrong, for example a technical problem on exam day. A fee applies, and requests close on 28 October 2026.
Watch the timing: the review outcome arrives by the week starting 9 November, which is after the December standard entry deadline of 2 November. Many students therefore book their December re-sit on time while the review is in progress, so they do not lose the session or pay the late fee. ACCA’s rules on what happens to a December booking if your review changes the result can change, so check the current position on accaglobal.com or WhatsApp us and we will help you check before you decide.
If something outside your control affected you on exam day (illness, a centre problem), the route is mitigating circumstances, not an administrative review. The notification deadline for September has passed, but appeals on decisions close on 18 November 2026.
When Will ACCA Publish September 2026 Pass Rates?
ACCA usually publishes global pass rates for each paper shortly after results day. ACCA publishes global figures only, so there is no separate India pass rate. We will add the September 2026 numbers to this post once ACCA releases them; until then, the June 2026 rates in our December 2026 exam plan are the best guide to which papers need the most practice.
Take the Next Step Today
Whether you passed or are re-sitting, the fastest way to know where you stand for December is a timed mock. Take a free ACCA mock test and watch free demo lectures on the MBC LMS. You will see the correct answer and a worked solution for every question as soon as you submit, plus a score report by topic.
