Why ACCA Fees Are in Pounds
ACCA is a UK body, so it charges every fee in British pounds (GBP). You pay by card in myACCA and your bank converts to rupees. The rupee figures below use the mid-market rate on 30 September 2026 (1 GBP = Rs.127; source: open.er-api.com), rounded. Your bank will add a small conversion margin, and the rate changes daily, so always confirm the GBP amount on accaglobal.com before paying.

Total ACCA Cost: After Plus Two vs After B.Com
Your total depends on how many papers you sit and how many you are exempt from. Here are the two most common routes for Kerala students, assuming you pass every paper first time and book at standard entry.
Route 1: After Plus Two (all 13 papers, about 3 years)

Route 2: After B.Com (usually 9 exams, about 2 to 2.5 years)
B.Com graduates are usually exempt from BT, MA, FA and LW, but ACCA charges an exemption fee for each exempt paper. Adding exemption fees (about Rs.46,100), 5 Applied Skills exams (about Rs.95,890), SBL, SBR and two option papers (about Rs.1,06,810), the ethics module, registration and two years of subscription, the total comes to about £2,350, or roughly Rs.3 lakh.

The Hidden Cost: Re-sits and Late Fees
The totals above assume every paper is passed first time. In June 2026 the global pass rates were 41% for PM, 47% for AA, 48% for FM and 52% for FR, so many students pay for at least one paper twice. One Applied Skills re-sit adds about Rs.19,180, and booking late instead of on time adds about Rs.30,000 more per paper.

Coaching Fees in Kerala: What to Compare

- Is the fee per paper, per level or for the full course? Compare like with like.
- How many full timed mock exams are included, and are they marked with feedback? This decides your pass rate more than lecture hours do.
- Are recorded lectures available until your exam, so you can catch up if you work or attend college?
- Who teaches, and are they ACCA-qualified?
- What happens if you fail? Is there free re-attendance or a discount for the re-sit?
